There are rumors that three shipping companies in Mumbai have been sending supplies on a regular basis for more than a month. They claim to have been shipping and forwarding items like metals, plastic, and wood products from their facilities in Pune, Surat, and Mumbai.
Since nearly every company in the supply chain has its headquarters in Mumbai, the requirement for items from that warehouse can be the reason for the exports and transit delays. However, freight companies often face delays in the delivery of the goods that their customers purchase.
